Job hunting in 2018

Postby leftme » Fri Jun 29, 2018 7:37 am

This place is a bit of a ghost town but I'll try anyway...

I find myself wanting to find a new career path. Haven't seriously looked for ~18 years and after working for a smallish company(<30 employees) I find myself with a large set of diverse skills and knowledge. As a result, I don’t have a normal job description to type into a job search website.
So what I’m looking for is recommendations to recruitment type companies. I figure this is my best bet for finding a job that fits me but if anyone has other recommendations, let me know.
I'd also like to avoid oilfield related industries, if that is even possible in Alberta, after being at an oilfield support company for 18 years, the feast or famine business model in getting tiring.

Thanks for looking.

The company I work for is hiring.
But... it’s oil related, pipeline construction. We are on the software side looking for office support and/or field support:

Give it a check if you’re at all interested.
