Local place to buy wiring harness pins?

Postby colin3 » Tue Feb 13, 2018 9:42 am

I need to re-pin one of my RX8 ignition coil plugs. Can anyone recommend a local place I can go and browse their selection of pins (and possibly crimpers) to find a match?

MRO Electronic Supply Ltd

I would say there is a pretty good chance you can find anything you need there. Or if not they will probably tell you what else you can try.

Not the solution you're asking about, but...

I usually just unpin from another (spare) OEM harness or harness piece and then splice/crimp it on and insert it into the connector.

So, Pick N Pull and a pair of side cutters? I'm sure there's a Mazda (or other import) that uses the same pins (Or connector)
Don't make me quote you in my sig! ;)

Wow, I forgot I posted on here! Thanks for the replies :)
I learned how to depin but alas it was much simpler and easier to crimp on a pigtail from another car. Almost all Mazdas use the same ignition coil plug so parts are actually rather plentiful. :) Ryan Smith hooked me up and I crimped it outside in the Sundance Mazda parking lot. (Got some free new lower control arms, front ball joints and an alignment under a recall)
