Event Info: The Alberta Solo Association is hosting Event #6 of the 2017 autoslalom calendar at Castrol Raceway, Sunday, July 23rd. This will be a competitive timed event and drivers will get a minimum of four official timed runs. It will count towards points in the 2017 ASA Championship.

When: Sun. July 23rd @ 1600.

Registration opens at 1600 in the main parking lot and closes at 1715 sharp!
On Track for Set up @ 1700hrs
Driver's meeting 1745hrs
First car out around 1800hrs
Wrap-Up Drivers Meeting ~2000hrs
Cleanup & leave venue by dusk

Where: Castrol Raceway

Highway 19 & Highway 2 (2 kms West); Nisku; Alberta; Canada
GPS Coordinates: 53.3374847°N 113.5330582°W
EXIT No. (Coming from HWY 2): 525

Registration will take place in the gravel spectator parking lot, the first right after you enter the main Castrol gates.

Use SOUTH Drag Pit entry gate, drive past staging lanes & pro pits. Enter the course from pit-out.
Everyone entering will sign waiver & receive "pit pass" wrist band
Participant Parking will be on the straight on the east short course, and the competitive area will be located on the west short course.



Cost: $60 for ASA or ASN affiliated members, $75 for non members (includes the cost of a day membership). There is an additional $10 Surcharge for walkup registrations!

Note: Car classes and car numbers are required for registration for this event. If you need information or help on car classing, or about the event please go to the forum at: http://www.mrheavyfoot.com.

Other Requirements: You need to supply your own mechanically sound car. Helmets are required, but for drivers who don't have their own, club helmets are available for loan. Helmets can be open or closed face and need to be Snell approved. Certification of Snell 2010 or newer required and of type M,SA, or K. You must complete a Self-tech inspection of your car, the form is available at http://www.albertasolo.com/selftechform.pdf please print, fill it out, and bring it to the event!
